WHO WE ARE:

Deconstruction Donation Group (DDG) is a California-based 501(c)(3) that processes tax-deductible real property donations for individuals and LLCs.

DDG are educators, project managers, and consultants who implement the deconstruction donation process as an alternative to demolition, creating a cycle of sustainability and generosity.

WHAT WE DO:

DDG accepts commercial and residential donations throughout California and select out-of-state projects including Lake Tahoe/Nevada.

DDG acts as a liaison between property owner, deconstruction contractor, and qualified appraiser to maximize IRS compliance, donor contribution, recycling, and distribution of reusable material.

HOW WE DO IT:

The structure, or a portion thereof, excluding land, is donated to DDG and deconstructed in lieu of demolition. Reusable building material is diverted from landfill and provided to other non-profits and inequitable groups at no cost.

It’s this process that qualifies the donation as tax-deductible.
